Following university Digby swapped an early career in golf to manage Sponsorship & Promotions for the Motor Racing Division of Lucas Int. - successfully contesting the South African GT & Rally Championship series before moving to the UK and establishing ARM Direct in 1984.
As CEO & Creative Director, Digby provides business-building and integrated marketing recommendations to new and established brands. He frequently writes in-depth articles for Response Magazine and was a contributor to BT’s definitive DRTV Handbook. Digby’s background in direct response marketing, as well as his passion for making creatives that produce great results, continues to be the prime motivation for him in this competitive business.
As a former rugby scrum half Elton fully understands the need for small voices to be heard in very cluttered spaces, and the need to learn the best methods to step past your competition. From his early days as a graduate, working on accounts such as AXA Sunlife and Direct Line, Elton has always had a very keen eye for detail coupled with a strong strategic mind.
Elton has a wide range of Direct Response and Brand experience in both the UK and across Europe having run the Dell Computers account across 13 territories, as well as accounts like Barry M cosmetics and Full Tilt Poker.
After graduating from University, Dan began his career at the market research specialists Datamonitor, before working for Camelot Group (The National Lottery) in their Marketing Department and subsequently joining ARM Direct in 2000. Having joined as a Data Analyst, Dan has worked his way up to Associate Director. His responsibilities include Account Management, Media Planning & Buying, New Business Development and Campaign Analysis.
Dan's client side marketing experience combined with his advertising industry knowledge has helped him to manage some of ARM's largest accounts and provide strategic multi-media plans to grow their businesses. Campaigns he has managed range from traditional direct response to full-scale brand advertising.
Shane has spent most of his working life in the media industry and joined the agency in 2002 and worked his way up to Associate Director. He provides a key role not only in financial management of the agency but also IT & Facilities & HR.
Being a senior executive of an independent creative & media buying agency has given Shane the opportunity to share his specialist financial knowledge and systems with staff as well as with the many clients who have appointed ARM Direct.
